Counsellor & Psychotherapist

As a BACP qualified counsellor, my passion is to provide support to enhance people’s mental health. I have 10 years’ experience in counselling work, have worked with a significant range of clients, and gained counselling qualifications from three Universities. My experience includes voluntary work at two different charities over 5 years, paid work with Better Help, and my own private counselling practice.

I also have over 25 years of experience as a highly qualified secondary  teacher and educational leader, with extensive experience in mentoring and training others. This experience  enables me to work collaboratively to bring out the potential of others and help them develop new insight.

My extensive background in teaching enables me to support youngsters with diverse anxiety and self-esteem issues. My younger clients see me as someone who creates a strong rapport with them and for nurturing, in a deeply empathic way, their self-belief to enable them to realise their potential. I provide early intervention strategies and tools to enhance their coping strategies.
